They started bottling wine here under their own name in 1990. Nowadays the winery is run by Miran\u2019s son, Matej Korenika. The vineyard\u2019s unique hillside location overlooking the sea and the salt pans of Secovlje creates a unique selection of wines. Korenika &amp; Moskon applies the prestigious Demeter guidelines, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, meaning their biodynamic wines are made with respect for the environment and animal welfare.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong> Dry red \u00b7 100% refosk \u00b7 14% alcohol<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vinification:<\/strong> Cold maceration (contact with the skins) for 5 days and fermentation for 7 days (native yeasts) with contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic conversion with native bacteria, followed by 12 months ageing in stainless steel tanks. No fining or filtering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasting notes:<\/strong> Dark, deep red wine with purple hues. Aromas of blackberry and blueberry. Impressions of pepper, thyme and brushwood.
