Description
Appellation: Brda, Primorska.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Gris (Sivi Pinot).
Tasting notes: rosé-gold color with aromas of graphite, herbs, floral notes and ripe fruit. Rich and creamy on the palate, with mineral freshness and a subtle saline note. Long finish.
Food pairing: spicy Asian dishes, pâté, octopus, mushrooms and oven-baked fish dishes.
Vinification: 1 day of maceration, followed by pressing and 18 months of aging in new barriques. The wine is then aged for another 12 months in amphora. After filtration and bottling, it rests for at least 6 months in bottle.
Technical information: alcohol 13.5%, dry.
