Dear wine lover,
The past few weeks brought us several meaningful moments: the Feast of the Flemish Wine Guild, a recognition of our founder Paul’s dedication to Slovenian wines, an article on orange wines by wine journalist Bruno Vanspauwen, and an inspiring edition of Wine Paris.
During the Feast of the Flemish Wine Guild, Paul was appointed Honorary Fellow Wine Taster. For us, this title is above all a confirmation of the work we have been doing for many years with conviction and care around the Slovenian wine region.
What made the day even more special was that the entire dinner was dedicated to Slovenian wines. From aperitif to dessert, guests were given a broad insight into the diversity and distinct character of this wine country.

ORANGE WINE: HYPE OR HERE TO STAY?
In De Standaard, Bruno Vanspauwen recently explored the world of orange wines. What exactly are they? Why do they appeal to so many people? And what should you really know about them?
In Slovenia, orange wine is not a trend but a tradition. White grapes are given time to macerate on their skins, resulting in more structure and character. These are wines that invite you to slow down and enjoy them — at the table or during a good conversation.

WINE PARIS 2026
Slovenia was also strongly represented at Wine Paris. We tasted new vintages, spoke with winemakers and selected several wines that will soon be added to our portfolio.
