Description
Appellation: Vipava Valley, Primorska.
Grape variety: 100% Pinela.
Tasting notes: lemon-yellow white wine with aromas of apple, grapefruit and tropical fruit such as pineapple and lychee. Fresh in style, with pronounced acidity.
Food pairing: oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and tuna, young cheeses and light pasta dishes.
Vinification: short cold maceration, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 6 months in large 2,000-litre oak barrels, followed by a short period of bottle aging.
Technical information: alcohol 12.5%, dry.
