Description
Appellation: ZGP, Prekmurje, Podravje
Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard: Bodonci vineyard, south-facing, located at 280–320 m altitude
Soil: quartz gravel and sandy clay
Harvest: hand-harvested, yield 20 hl/ha
Vinification: 10% of the must undergoes 20 days of maceration. Spontaneous fermentation, followed by 18 months of aging in 600-liter oak barrels and a large 3,000-liter oak cask.
Tasting notes: ripe yellow fruit, subtle green nuances, notes of vanilla and oak, with a light toasted character.
Technical information: alcohol 13.5%, dry, serving temperature 10–12°C
