Description
Appellation: ZGP, Istria, Primorska
Grape varieties: 70% Malvazija, 20% Chardonnay, 10% Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting notes: golden-yellow color with aromas of apricot, peach, mango, dried fruit and flowers, complemented by notes of honey, spice and vanilla. Full-bodied finish, beautifully balanced by fresh acidity.
Food pairing: artichoke with butter sauce, vegetarian dishes, truffle pasta, white fish
Vineyard: Ramondovec, north-facing
Soil: light soil, terraced vineyards
Harvest: hand-harvested
Vinification: 5 days of maceration, followed by pressing, fermentation and aging in barriques, of which 50% are new. Aged sur lie in oak for at least 1 year, followed by 6 months of aging in stainless steel tanks.
