Appellation: ZGP, Vipava valley,Prismorska
Grape variety: 50% Schioppetino (Pokalca), 30% Blaufrankisch, 20% Refosk
Vineyard: north-east oriented slopes ( Stranice 160m, Ravno Brdo 260m).
Soil: Flysch (alternation of marl, sandstone, breccia and conglomerate).
Harvest: manual, late September – early October
Vinification: maceration and fermentation in inox tanks, 20 days maceration with only pipeage, 18 months maturation in large oak barrels , no filtering
Description: intense red color, ripe fruit, light wood tone and spiciness
Technical information: alcohol 14.5%, total sulfite 37 mg/l, serve at 16°
Food pairing: goes well with roasts, red and wild meat
