Appellation: ZGP, Brda, Primorska
Grape variety: 100% Rebula
Vineyard: east-facing slopes in the higher-elevation part of Brda.
Soil: marl (Eocene Flysch).
Harvest: hand-harvested, second half of September.
Vinification: pressing after 7 months of amphora maceration, 24 months of maturation in barriques sur lie, followed by a minimum of 6 months of bottle aging.
Tasting notes: old gold color with amber reflections, hints of acacia, aromas of baked apple, complex palate with warm spice and caramel, and a long finish with a mineral touch.
Technical information: alcohol 13%, total acidity 4.02 g/L, serving temperature 8–10°C.
