Grape variety: 100% Rebula
Vineyard: east-facing slopes in the higher-elevation part of Brda
Soil: marl (Eocene flysch)
Harvest: hand-harvested, second half of September
Vinification: 24 hours of cold maceration. After pressing, fermentation in barrels made from five different wood types—oak, mulberry, wild cherry, ash, and acacia—for 12 months. After bottling, a minimum of 24 months of bottle aging.
Tasting notes: straw-yellow to pale golden color, a complex aroma with a floral opening, ripe fruit and refined herbal spice, with notes of vanilla and licorice. Harmonious, with layered impressions from the different wood types.
Technical information: alcohol 13.5%, total acidity 5.46 g/L, serving temperature 12–14°C
