Grape variety: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Barbera
Vineyard: Preske and Zavrh
Soil: Mixture of sandstone, marl, limestone and clay
Harvest: Manual harvest at the same time of the 3 grape varieties
Vinification: 4 weeks maceration of the crushed grapes and spontaneous fermentation wooden barrels, 2 years maturation in used large oak barrels
Description: Intense garnet red color. In the nose the typical characteristics of the different grape varieties. Complex nose with aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plums, brushwood, graphite and pepper. A rich wine with full finish and a nice length.
Technical information: Alcohol 14.62%, residual sugar 1.3g/l, serving temperature 15 – 18°
