Grape variety: 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Welschriesling
Vineyard: Haloze, 380 – 490 m altitude, slopes up to 60%, vines up to 45 years old
Soil: marl and limestone
Harvest: manual harvest in late September
Vinification: spontaneous fermentation, 12 months maturation in large wooden barrels, 4 months on inox, unfiltered
Description: aromas of green apple, herbs, green tee, salty lime and wet stone. The different layers come back nicely on the palate. Pleasant acidity and a nice length.
Technical information: alcohol 14.0% , acidity 6.89 gr/l, SO2 0 to 10 mg/l, serve at 10-12°
