Grape variety: 100% Welschriesling (Graševina)
Tasting notes: golden-yellow color with orange reflections, aromas of ripe yellow apple and peach, Mediterranean herbs and a refined mineral touch.
Food pairing: shellfish, vegetarian dishes, lightly grilled fish, poultry, mild cheeses
Vineyard: Loka, plateau vineyard located at 160 m altitude
Soil: flysch (alternating layers of marl, sandstone, breccia and conglomerate)
Harvest: hand-harvested, second week of September
Vinification: 10 days of maceration, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 18–24°C. Malolactic fermentation and 11 months of aging in large 1,000–1,500 liter casks.
